Undergraduate Research in DH/CH

As one of the requirements for graduation with a major in Comparative Humanities is the successful completion and defense of a research thesis (often completed as an Honors thesis under the auspices of the University Honors Program), it is no surprise that many of our students in Comparative Humanities complete undergraduate research projects during their careers at the university.  These projects can be undertaken as part of the Bucknell Program in Undergraduate Research, the Emerging Scholars program, the Mellon Digital Initiatives program through  Library and Instructional Technology, or the Stories of the Susquehanna project, which is funded through a variety of external donors.

Increasingly, these projects are inflected by the methodological insights afforded by the digital humanities.  Here are some examples of such student research.
